The AI for Impact Hub isn't just a course platform. It's a community of practitioners who are building something real — governed, ethical AI systems they're putting to work inside actual organisations. That shared commitment is what makes The Collective worth showing up in.
These guidelines exist to protect that. Not to police, but to be clear about the kind of space we're building together — so that every member, regardless of where they are in the world or where they are in their AI journey, can participate fully and safely.
The Collective is a place to build, share, question, experiment, and support each other. We're ethics-first and governance-led, which means those values extend to how we treat each other — not just how we treat AI.
We expect every member to show up with:
Be constructive. Feedback, questions, and disagreements are welcome. How you deliver them matters. Approach others the way you'd want to be approached — especially when you're challenging an idea or pushing back on something.
Be specific. The more context you give when asking for help, the better the community can support you. Vague questions get vague answers. Share your context, your industry, your constraints.
Credit others. If a member shares something that sparks an idea, say so. If you implement something you learned from a peer in the community, acknowledge it.
Stay on topic. The Collective has channels for different kinds of conversation — use them. If something doesn't fit anywhere obvious, post in general and the team will help direct it.
Protect the session links. Build Club and Q&A links are for Pro members only. If you see another member asking for a link, please direct them to the team rather than sharing it directly — it wouldn't be fair to the members who've paid for that access.
The following aren't negotiable, and will result in immediate action including removal from the community:
Harassment or discrimination. This includes targeted personal attacks, discriminatory language or behaviour based on gender, race, sexuality, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic. The Hub is a female-led community — that culture of inclusion and empowerment applies to everyone in it.
